High quality and concrete reinforcement steel bars can reach temperatures up to 600 C (1100F) leaving the cooling bed. Steel Bar bundles are shipped over great distances and therefore identification is subject to the highest possible quality standards. ITI Industrial Supplies Identification tags with the right attachment clip escape the impact of rough handling where metal tags are torn apart. Frequently Asked Questions

Do the tags withstand hot bars from the cooling bed?

Yes. Reinforcing bars can still be about 600 C (1100 F) when they leave the cooling bed; our high heat tags are made for this.

Why plastic tags instead of metal tags for bar bundles?

Metal tags can be torn apart by rough handling. Plastic tags combined with the right attachment clip resist this during long transport.

How are the tags attached to bar bundles?

Included in the strapping, with Clip #8010 or Clip #1, with Clip #8051 or Clip #5 on the front, side hung with Clip #8323 or Clip #2, with a welding gun, or with a long wire for low budget shipping tags.

Are there labels for the bar ends?

Yes, oily surface and rough surface labels with strong adhesive can be applied to the front side of the bars.

Which printers can I use?

Laser, thermal transfer and dot-matrix printers, including standard office printers that cost less than $1000.

Can I get free samples before ordering?

Yes. Contact us at info@lasertagslabels.com or +1-305-393-8669 for free samples or a free consultation on your labeling application.

What if my size is not listed?

There are many possible sizes. Tell us your required size and we will recommend the most economical standard size and material closest to your needs. Most products can be customized.
